Caving:
A variety of caves are used for this exciting activity in a unique
environment. Some are naturally occurring
and others are old lead mines over 250 years old. Consideration is given to the age and abilities
of the group in deciding which cave is used. |

Climbing:
The centre is close to the Eastern gritstone edges providing idyllic
locations for both novice and expert climbers. The usual crags used are Stanage, Burbage and
Rivelin offering endless challenges. |
Gorge Walking:
This activity involves scrambling up a stream using ropes, floats and
good teamwork! It also involves getting thoroughly soaked!. |

Rock Hopping:
A fun session with a serious message. The team have to negotiate
a scrambling circuit involving squeezes, drops, climbs and jumps.
Only good teamwork will get them through. |
Hill Walking:
Enjoy the solitude of the Dark Peak Plateau with the challenge of
mountain navigation, or the less rigorous trails around the local valleys. |

Cycling:
Many groups hire bikes and cycle around the stunning Derwent Valley Reservoirs. All
equipment and route maps are provided by the hire centre. |
Camp
Craft:
Groups have an option to spend a night under canvas, either on site or as
part of an expedition.

Tower:
At Hagg Farm we have a modern climbing tower in the adjoining woods. It has
sides of varying degrees of difficulty to suit all abilities. |
Abseiling:
Hagg Farm has access to both cliff abseils and bridge abseils up to 80
feet in height. Great for building self confidence with team
encouragement! |
