Speaking and Listening
This is exactly what Nottinghamshire teachers have been crying out for to complement the objectives for reading and writing set out in the NLS Framework for teaching. The materials reflect the National Curriculum requirements in English and develop approaches to teaching, extending and reinforcing speaking and listening both in English and across the curriculum.
They build on and extend the approach first outlined in Teaching speaking and listening in Key Stages 1 and 2 (QCA, 1999).
