The second round of FLS training has now started and you will be keen to know how you will receive your FLS materials.
All schools with Year Five pupils will receive the Further Literacy Support Teacher's book directly from the DfES. This book contains a CD ROM which contains all of the materials.
Inside this teacher's book, schools are directed to order a pack of all the materials required from Prolog 0845 60 222 60 using DfES reference number 0359/2002. Schools can order one pack only.

Schools who attend the FLS training will receive six copies of the pupil book to use their first FLS group.
Information will be given at a later date in relation to buying copies for the next academic year. (Alternatively schools can print booklets from the CD ROM)

In Module 2, Week 5 of the FLS programme, 'Kakarat' by Jane Grell is suggested as an example of a myth/legend. Although this publication was available when FLS was published last year, it is now out of print. It has been made available to us by the publishers, please email for a copy.
