This audit has been very useful in the schools where it has been used. We suggest that the audit is carried out by the Literacy co-ordinator with the Senior Management Team, we estimate that it will take over an hour. It has been found useful in some schools to carry out this audit with the whole staff. It is also important to refer to the School Self Evaluation
