Course descriptionThis is a practical course which aims to provide teachers with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to exploit the power that ICT has to enhance teaching and learning in Literacy at Key Stage Two. Whilst this course is aimed at non-specialist teachers of ICT, and shall be paced accordingly, a basic familiarity with PCs is desirable. Course objectives

Highlight speakers from text. Look at the three levels of differentiation of same text, discuss whether the differentiation is Literacy or ICT based. This activity can be used to highlight other areas, and gives children great opportunities for developing their investigations of texts. It also gives you clear opportunities for assessment.
