Course descriptionThis is a practical course which aims to equip teachers with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to teach the KS1 ICT curriculum. Delegates will learn how various software titles, chosen from Nottinghamshire’s recommended list can be used to deliver the KS1 curriculum confidently and effectively. Whilst this course is aimed at non-specialist teachers of ICT, and shall be paced accordingly, a basic familiarity with PCs is desirable. The methodology of the course will consist of a mix of demonstration, hands-on practice and discussion. |
