Using ICT to enhance the primary art curriculum

This is a practical course which aims to provide primary teachers with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to fully exploit the power that ICT has to enhance teaching and learning in art.

Course objectives

• Using the Internet as a source of reference materials;
• Getting the most from a paint application.
  For this we shall be using Black Cat’s ‘Fresco’ software;
• Collecting and manipulating images from digital cameras;
• Presenting children’s artwork using Microsoft PowerPoint

Course achievements

• Greater expertise and confidence in the application of ICT in primary art.
